Dr. Steve Moore is an E&P technical professional with 28 years’ experience at Shell, Maersk Oil and Mubadala Petroleum. He joined Energean in 2014. Previously Senior Vice President Technical at Mubadala Petroleum, where he managed all technical functions of the company worldwide, including G&G, reservoir, drilling, facilities, projects, operations, HSE and technology.
Dr. Moore has held increasingly significant roles across New Business Development, and Technical, Asset and Company Management, expanding from company to global level. Dr. Moore has worked extensively in the FSU, in the Middle East and South East Asia, as well as in the UK North Sea.
Dr. Moore holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
Mr. Efstathiou is an Exploration Manager/ Geoscientist with 35 years of oil industry experience, previously working as Global Exploration Manager (2014-2016) and Exploration Manager (2012-2014) at Mubadala Petroleum, where he was responsible for all captured assets and Exploration New Ventures.
Prior to Mubadala, Mr. Efstathiou managed all Middle East exploration and development projects for Statoil in the UAE (2008-2012).
Previous roles include Middle East explorationist at Statoil Hydro (2007-2008) and Senior Geophysicist for offshore West Africa at Norsk Hydro (1993-2007). He previously worked with BP and Saudi Aramco in London
Mr. Efstathiou holds a BSc (Hons) in Geophysical Science from Southampton University and speaks English, Greek, Norwegian, and Dutch.
Vassilis Tsetoglou started his career in 1992 in electrical engineering and telecommunication systems, before managing electrical and mechanical projects at Eurotech Services.
In 2001 he started working in the oil & gas industry at Kavala Oil, progressing to Technical Services Superintendent before moving to focus on HSE Management in potentially high H2S environments in 2005.
Mr. Tsetoglou joined Energean as Group HSE Manager in 2015. He is certified as Head of Internal Inspections of ISO 9000/94 Quality Systems by the TÜV Greece. He is also a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and the Greek Association of Dipl. Electrical & Mechanical Engineers.
Mr. Tsetoglou holds a BEng and a MEng in Electrical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a MSc in Technologies in Environmental Legislation from Democritus University of Thrace.
Fred Riddiford is a Reservoir Engineering/ Project Engineering Technical Professional and Senior Manager who has worked on oil and gas-related projects for the past 40 years. He joined Energean in June 2016.
Mr. Riddiford previously worked in the Petro-Technical Group in Mubadala Petroleum as Vice President Reservoir Engineering (2013-2016) and Director Reservoir Engineering (2011-2013) in Abu Dhabi.
He began a 35-year career at BP as a Research Physicist before transferring to the E&P arm of the Company in 1984 as a Reservoir Engineer.
More recently, Mr. Riddiford developed the In Salah Gas (ISG) Field (1996-2004) as Team Lead and then Senior Reservoir Engineer and won a BP Helios Green Prize Award in 2005 for the ISG CO2 Re-injection Project, before taking his final position at BP as Technical Manager of the Growth/Technical Directorate (Middle East & South Asia SPU, 2004-2010).
Mrs. Lila Karageorgi-Dermitzaki is a professional Geoscientist with 35 years of industry experience. During this time, she held managerial positions in Vegas Oil & Gas, ZhenHua Oil and their Joint Venture affiliates in Egypt. Prior to that, she worked for Enterprise Oil, U.S. Department of Energy-Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. and British Petroleum.
Mrs. Dermitzaki has experience in Exploration, Development, Operations and Reserves Evaluation, managing multi-discipline sub-surface teams. During her carrier, she has been extensively exposed in multi-cultural environments, having worked in private and governmental agencies from different nationalities world-wide.
Mrs. Dermitzaki has a Master’s in Geophysics from the University in California, Berkeley and a Bachelor’s in Geology from the Aristotelian University of Salonica, Greece.
She joined Energean as Group New Business Development Manager in July 2017.
David Donaldson is a Petroleum engineer with drilling specialization and over 30 years of industry experience.
As Well Engineering manager at Petroceltic, Algeria, Mr. Donaldson was responsible for the drilling of 124 land wells, including the planning, programming, recruitment and delivery of 30 early wells and field infrastructure of tight gas, as well as the HSE management, Risk Analysis, QA/QC management and cost management.
Previously, he served as drilling engineer in senior positions for BG Group (including Vice President, Well Engineering Manager), Shell (Asset Divestment), Eni (Petroleum Engineering Coordinator), Petro-Canada (Snr Petroleum Engineer), BHP Biliton (Well Services Superintendent) and Halliburton (Senior Advisor Snubbing and HWO, Coiled Tubing Manager).
Mr. Donaldson holds a Masters in Petroleum Engineering from the Heriot-Watt University.
Mr. Reboul-Salze is a production facilities engineer with 10 years of industry experience, mostly gained at Shell. He joined Energean in 2014, after leading the process engineering team in charge of Shell/AGIP KCO’s Kashagan field Start-Up in Kazakhstan, for over three years. Prior to that, he worked with Shell Upstream development teams to support new business development and “concept select” work focusing on facilities’ conceptual design and costing.
As Appraisal and Process Engineer, he worked on production operations and new facilities’ design and installation for four years in the Dutch and Southern North Sea production areas (mainly gas fields).
Before joining Shell, Mr. Reboul-Salze worked for two years conducting detailed engineering studies for Offshore floating structures with D2M Naval Architects.
He holds a Masters in Petroleum Engineering from the Institut Français du Petrole (IFP school) and a Masters in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris.
Michelle joined Energean in April 2017 and is responsible for all legal and company secretarial matters. Prior to joining Energean, Michelle worked on exploration and development projects in the Falkland Islands, Morocco and Egypt. She had previously been Legal Manager at Sterling Energy plc, where she was involved in oil and gas transactions and activities internationally, including in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, West Africa and Madagascar. She has also worked for the OMV Group, the BG Group and Schlumberger
Michelle graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Law and began her career as a solicitor with Titmuss, Sainer & Webb (now Decherts). In previous roles she has been based in London, Aberdeen and Paris.
Vassilis Zenios is the head of the Epsilon Project. He has 25 years’ experience in oil & gas, offshore construction, pipelines and heavy lift installation Contractors.
He joined Energean in 2015, after working for 10 years with Versabar Inc, responsible for innovative offshore heavy lift solutions and execution of services to operators, notably the simultaneous raising of the LIMA field complex platforms and bridges, East Java Sea Indonesia.
He worked for 15 years with Saipem in various worldwide locations performing fast track offshore pipelines and heavy lift projects.
Mrs. Lena has 15 years of professional experience in Corporate Finance and Business Strategy. Her main expertise focuses on investment evaluation, project financing and business accounting.
In Energean she is responsible for the company’s accounting and tax compliance, as well as the group’s financial reporting to management, regulators and other external parties. She also coordinates with auditors and regulators for the review of books, records and internal controls.
Before joining Energean Oil & gas, she has held the position of Business Analyst in Remaco Management Consultants S.A. and Financial Accountant in Next Step Consulting.
Mrs. Lena holds a BSc in Business Administration and a BSc in Economic Science at Athens University of Economics.
In 1984 he was employed by North Aegean Petroleum Company (N.A.P.C.) as Process Engineer, becoming Senior Process Engineer in 1987, Head of Technical Services (1992) and Chief Engineer (1997 until May 1999) when the company terminated its operations. Between May and November 1999 he ensured the maintenance and security of the facilities as Project Manager for Eurotech Services, who were assigned the project by the Greek state.
He started his career in March 1979 at ESSO Canada as Process Engineer, continuing as Operations Engineer (1981-1982), at which time he left ESSO Canada to return to Greece. From 1983 to 1984, he worked as Operations Engineer at Ethyl Hellas in Thessaloniki.
He holds a BSc and MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
Mr. Rodgers has over 30 years of process industry experience with 23 years concentrated in the oil and gas business. He has an extensive experience in front line operational and maintenance leadership roles onshore and offshore, major projects and live operations within gas and oil facilities. He is also specializing in national workforce capability development in Operations and Engineering Maintenance. He joined Energean in April 2017, after having worked for 4 years with Petrofac on operational Gas developments in Western Australia and Oman. Prior to that, he spent 21 years with BP Operations working on a number of major capital projects and Operational sites including assignments in Angola and USA as well as UK North Sea and onshore. He started his career working in Maintenance engineering within the Petrochemical industry. Mr. Rodgers holds a B-tec degree in Industrial measurement and control engineering from the University of Teesside, a bachelor degree in Management and a Master’s Degree in Strategic management from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mr. Starkey-Jones is a HSE Manager/Senior Technical Safety Engineer, with 35 years’ experience in the industry. He has worked in major onshore and offshore projects including FPSO’s, Platforms and Pipelines. He joined Energean in 2016 and provides HSE leadership for the design and implementation of Karish and Tanin project.
Previously, he worked in senior engineering positions at PTTEP, Lundin and Tullow Oil for projects in Thailand, Kuala Lumpur and Ghana. He worked for 10 years with Total mainly for the Pazflor project in Angola and for 7 years with Shell, engaged on the Goldeneye project.
Mr. Starkey-Jones holds a Bsc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester - Institute of Science and Technology.
